tinkering

I’m always keen to better integrate my photo gallery with the rest of the blog. Right now they’re quite separate, with a different look to each of them. So i’ve added a little new feature that should help a little with linking them up.
There’s a new item in the right hand column for my photo gallery. It lists the 3 most recently updated albums and the top 5 viewed albums. It’s a neat dynamic thingy that updates itself. So there should be no effort needed on my part to keep it up to date.
If you notice anything quirky going on with it please let me know.

    Ah, glad you asked :)
    I can’t take credit for the difficult part, just the modification of someone else’s scripts and placing them on my blog template.
    The scripts are kindly provided for free here.
    There is some discussion about the scripts on the Gallery forums.
    Gallery is the system i use to manage my photos. It’s a free PHP photo gallery system. The scripts only work if you’re using Gallery to manage your photos.

    i’ve installed it and i’m not sure if it’s worth it, i don’t think my recently updated it correct at all with it claiming that the last time i’ve updated an album was 2003.. all very dodgy
    but still better than nothing!
