Before my sickness took hold i went to see Carla Werner play at the Hopetoun. As expected she was amazing, captivating, enthralling and many other superlatives.
Through a series of odd coincidences i ended hanging out with a mate of Carla’s for most of the evening. Despite me being a bit star struck i took the opportunity to meet Carla who was thoroughly charming. I even got the photo to prove it. I tried to remain composed for the photo, but inside i was grinning like an excited schoolboy.

Hope you enjoyed the gig, it was a bit different! Carls told me that someone taped the Annandale (3 June) gig and that they are just editing/producing it now.
As you obviously found out for yourself, she’s not just talented and gorgeous, she’s a genuinely nice person.
Hope you had fun, maybe I’ll catch you again soon!

Dan, I was there at the last gig, missed seeing you completley! was great to see the brother/ sister song, another great gig as usual from our Carls.
