Ms Fits and her sharp wit have written a very funny and informative political guide for the forthcoming election. It’s aimed at non-Australians and introduces you to some of our political characters.
Here’s the first part of the guide:
1. The Liberals are bad.
No, I don’t know why our right-wing party is confusingly called the Liberals when elsewhere liberal-minded people are left-wing. This means that here, big ‘L’ Liberals are evil and small ‘l’ liberals are great, open-minded and attractive folk like me with excellent personal hygiene. So if you hear an Australian cursing the Liberals loudly and shaking his or her fist in the manner of a perturbed gent in a 40′s movie, don’t be fooled into thinking they’re going to oppress you and your commie values system, hippy. They probably rule.
