I had a rather superb lunch at Forty One yesterday. It’s a restaurant at the top of Chifley Tower in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. An amazing view and a great restaurant. Rather than tell you about the food or the dining experience i’ll just show you pictures of me being an idiot doing my jumping thing and using the bathroom.
Two questions,
1. What were YOU doing at Forty One? (oh & am I right in thinking when I dined there is was called Level 42?, must have gone down in the interim…)
2. Why do you insist on using Flicker?, it sucks, its slow, its stupid and it bugs me! (Although I am getting a silly looking G5 at work so it may work there…)
1. I was having lunch silly. The restaurant is actually located on Level 42 of Chifley Tower, but i believe the restaurant may have moved floors, rather than the name changed.
2. I like flickr because of the social aspect of it, people can see my photos, leave comments and notes, i can read commenters profiles, add my photos to a group… It opens the photos up to a wider audience than this lil ol blog. Plus it’s dead easy to upload photos into it. I’ve had other people say that it’s slow, and the way it uses flash might be something to do with that. Fear not, i’m not going to put all my photos in there. Your feedback has been taken under due consideration. Thank you, please call again.
Flickr rocks. You’re right Dan, it IS dead easy to upload and share images. But what I love most about Flickr is the way images are organised by tags and the ability to easily search your album and other people’s albums too. I love Flickr.
/I don’t work for the company, I swear.
I ♥ Flickr too. Tags rock. You like puppies? How about kittens? Or drugs? Or for the romantics, kisses?
