No Rest for the Wicked

It was a fairly entertainment packed week last week.

I saw:

• Damien Rice twice, written about here and here
• John Safran interview two fellas from TISM which was bizarre and pants splittingly hilarious
• The Woman With Dog’s Eyes, a moving new play by Louis Nowra
• Jet (courtesy of their biggest fan)
• The Cops and The Von Bondies which was tops. The mosh was mental. I must be getting aged since i was thoroughly unimpressed by all the young scallywags violently thrashing about.
• My mates play in a band comp final. They didn’t win, but it’s not about who wins and loses, it’s about how you play the game. Crap, they’re a big bunch of losers.

Plus there was the usual stuff like working, walking the monkeys, solving the Arab-Israeli conflict and mastering the five-point exploding heart technique. Thankfully this week is looking a lot more sedate.

   Don’t you ever ..worry.. with the increasing popularity of your web journal that someone will start tracking the life of Daniel?
   Does that happen?
   My friend spendt 26hours straight on his XBOX, so I don’t buy the “who has the time,” argument.
