Rouse my hungover body. Catch a cab to Bondi. As i pay the $27 fare the cabbie tells me "I hope she's worth it". I don't tell him i'm meeting up with a bunch of blogging pals. So geeky. After i arrive over half an hour late i have the most divine pancakes with lime, mango and double cream.
Have a wander over to Sculptures by the Sea. There is some great stuff. A woman who spots me photographing mirrored surfaces asks if i know about the Mirror Project. Why yes, i do. I see about half of the sculptures and head back Bondi way and buy thongs and a new shirt.
Head over to Slurry Hills and wander round the markets. Spot lots of fashionable young people. Buy a space invaders t-shirt. Walk around the corner to Forresters and have a free lunch with my quiz winning crew.

Now i'm off to see a fillum.

Do you mean you bought thongs american-style or thongs aussie-style? it's so confusing. i tend to ask if my butt looks big in both.
hey i love the stars effect on your sidebar. i'm gona rip it off (when i emerge from eerie blogland silence)

Oh yes, it was an American style thong, for the beach this summer. I love inflicting my hairy arse cheeks on unsuspecting passers by :P

ewwwww.... bad mental image!
There are reasons why I no longer do surf patrol - you just brought them all flooding back! :P

you're only giving 'hero' two and a half?! it was bee-ewdiful, come on!
Posted by elmo | November 8, 2004 4:20 PM
Yes, Hero was pretty and balletic in it's choreographed fight scenes. But it had a dull and confusing plot and characters who i didn't give a toss about. Characters i care for are pretty important to my enjoyment of a movie.

Sean i would love to see you with a sweet smelling rasher round your neck. I think you are the man to turn it into the next fashion/fragrance sensation.
Tracey, i was at Bondi, having brunch about midday, i hung about till the arvo looking at the sculptures. So you think you spotted me eh? There were probably hundreds of dorky looking guys with digital cameras. It could've been any one us.
