I was in a fire crew at the back of Pearl Beach to Neera Ave Umina when it all blew up on the Sun afternoon (we got sent up from Sydney in a big rush), any pics of the actual fire operation would be welcomed!
I take my hat off to you – that must be a hell of a job, especially on New Years Day in that heat. I didn’t really get any more photos of the fire operation. Cybele had a few of the aftermath and Julius had some others from Umina.

No hat doffing required. It WAS a bit warm, especially as firefighting gear isn’t light and flimsy.
