The metal fans in the audience went nuts when Mudvayne took the stage. Most intense mosh all day.
Wolfmother were also in fine form and seem to have become rather massive. Walking around the crowd the band tshirt of choice was definitely theirs.

yeah… some dude came to buy a shirt from us just after mudvayne cos his chin had bled all over his old shirt after it intercepted with another person or object.
sounded like it was pretty darn intense.
that 70-200 is a damn fine lens.

The lens is a beauty. But it is damn heavy, my arms were shaking by the end of the day.
Unfortunately i didn’t get any decent Mars Volta shots. They performed with hardly any stagelights, plus they were on stage for only a few minutes before their road manager came into the photographers pit and told us all to get out of there. I think they must have some kind of issue with photographs. They sure did everything they could to spoil the chance for a decent shot.
Saying that though, Matt Booy managed to get some good stuff in the difficult conditions.

The show at the Enmore was no better. We were made to shoot from the FOYER! It was painful…
Luckily, I managed to sneak my camera back into the show and got a couple of half decent b/w shots.
