Subscribe via RSSI'm still on an adrenaline rush after photographing INXS this afternoon. I got an email out of the blue on Monday from the editor of Inpress in Melbourne asking if i could shoot INXS on Friday for their cover. Er.. yes. I don't know who put him onto me, but i think it was someone who reads this site, so thankyou mystery person.
I've been stressing about it all week, but it's finally over and i'm happy with the results. I had 45 minutes with them at The Sheraton in the city and wrapped up about 15 minutes early. I had the best collaboration and assistance in the business from Cybele and her trusty lighting from Blue Murder Studios.
Unfortunately i can't post the shots here till Inpress run them, which won't be till July. Stay tuned.

Hmm...I'd like to swap.
(having said that, I don't think I've ever photographed a tennis ball so well)

Thanks folks. They were all super cool, polite and professional. And JD was just the injection of brash young cheekiness they needed. I brought along champagne to use as a prop and he proceeded to pop it open and spray it everywhere, he then took some swigs and spat it towards me. All great material for photos.

I am a huge fan of INXS, and an even bigger fan since they got a new lead singer. J.D and Jon are cuties, and my friend met J.D and said he was a really sweet guy. You're so lucky to have gotten to photograph them!!
