I quite like this one as they all look happy and relaxed. Like old mates. The lighting’s a bit iffy, but we only had a very short time to set up and the band arrived about half an hour early. Excuses excuses.
I brought along a bottle of champagne as a prop, and it worked a treat. JD revelled in shaking it up, spraying it everywhere, drinking from the bottle and spitting the champagne toward me. He’s got that cheeky rockstar behaviour down pat.
The folks at The Sheraton weren’t impressed and came over to tell us to take it easy. I think the wad of notes JD slipped them after the shoot placated them somewhat.
I can see why they went with that certain pic for the cover. Was this shot with a new lense? 17mm? Great work mate.
When i shot this i didn’t own a wide-angle lens, except the kit lens.
I hired the Canon 16-35mm f2.8 L lens for the day.

I’ve been waiting (impatiently) since April to see these shots. Great job! I love them! And it is indeed INXS Tallulah. Give JD a chance. It’s not the band’s fault Michael died…they have every right to continue to make their fans and themselves happy.

I love these pictures!! I think that they represent the band really well!!! You can tell that they are having a great time!! I think that JD is perfect for the band!!
