I caught the Vines amazing first couple of shows in the New York (CBGBs, Mercury Lounge) and was pretty shocked at how fast they seemed to fall apart. I was at the Vines gig at the Corner and that absolutely went off. John, lots of people were using the flash on their compact cameras at the Melbourne gig. The guys didn't seem to mind at all (if anything Chris was very mellow that night). Sure, we should try and avoid flash where possible but there are times when it just isn't. Cheers, BC Dan,

Why the aggressive tone? I prefer not to use flash, and when i do use it it's very sparingly, plus i bounce it off a ceiling, so it's never pointing directly in the performer or audiences eyes.
