Just a brief check in. The music festival is madness. So tired. I treated myself to a sleep in today.
I've signed up with a photo agency called Retna, and they require my photos asap, and tightly edited with captions. So every night i come home i'm up to the wee hours sorting that out.
It's the last proper day of the festival today. Although it's exhausting it's also loads of fun, so i'll miss it when it's over.

Hey Dan, how does one get signed to an agency? Do they decide where you go and what to cover or is that up to you and at the end of the day you just send them the pictures? How does that work exactly?

I'm still pretty clueless about it. I just sent them an email with some examples of my work and let them know i was at SXSW and had sorted out all my own accreditation. They liked the look of me and signed me up. So far i've done SXSW and V Festival for them. I just upload my images to them after the event.
