Arriving in Las Vegas

Life is pretty sweet when you get picked up at Las Vegas airport by your friends in a BMW, drive back to their house and drop your stuff. Then head out in a Porsche convertible to the edge of town and take in the sunset against Red Rock Canyon.

Jeez Dan, I really feel for you. I mean, where did it all go wrong!?!
Man, where do you find friends like that?!
I was gonna ask, “Hey, does SHE come with the car?”
Life is *so* hard.
I’ve always wanted to do that drive. I love how lunar the landscape looks. That car is too clean, I don’t trust it.

So awesome!!!! So rock!!!!
Just be careful driving convertibles on the wrong side of the tracks in Vegas (as with anywhere). The roof never goes up quickly enough. I say this from seasoned experience. And that was in a rather crappy British racing green SAAB (i.e. not at all cool) when we drove to pick up our marriage license.
Red Rocks Nevada, my favourite place on earth.
