Metro is the Friday entertainment supplement of the Sydney Morning Herald. I’ve been reading it forever and last week a photo of mine was on the cover. So i was chuffed about that.
I didn’t even know about it till yesterday and only just managed to find a copy.
It’s a photo of The Black Keys from last years Great Escape Festival. The feature is in anticipation of this weekends festival.
The photo they used is one i didn’t even think much of. I didn’t include it amongst the 200 odd shots of the festival i posted on my website.
I’m in the fortunate position of being the official photographer for The Great Escape this year. I get a AAA pass, i get put up in accommodation, i get to go up in a helicopter and shoot the grounds from the air. Plus i get paid. Pretty sweet.
