A Forest inside Sydney Opera House

A Forest of Lines

As part of the Biennale of Sydney last week there was an incredible installation inside the Sydney Opera House.

A Forest of Lines

French artist Pierre Huyghe (pictured above) transformed the concert hall floor into a forest for 24 hours. He called the work A Forest of Lines. Hundreds of trees were brought in, the lights were dimmed and mist was pumped in.

These shots were taken on a tripod on 15-20 second exposures, it was much darker than it appears.

I would have taken more shots from the forest floor, but it was so dark, and i only had 10 minutes.
