My Saturday evening was spent photographing Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
It was the first time i’d photographed the parade as an accredited photographer. Previously i’d been as a spectator, toting a milk crate to get a decent view. So it was quite a privelege being able to wander up and down the parade route as i pleased.
I was shooting for some of the sponsors, so my eye was concentrating on those corporate floats, but i still captured some of the diverse flavour of the evening.
Loads more pictures in the Mardi Gras photo gallery.
