As well as shooting the live performances at the MTV Awards i was turning around shooting the presenters and award winners at the podium.

The show was hosted by the diminutive Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy who’d i’d photographed not long ago for XBox.

One of the surprises of the night was when his wife and mother of his newborn child, Ashlee Simpson turned up. They weren’t shy of public displays of affection.
