<p>Last week i had a tour of some of the works which form the <a href="http://www.bos2008.com">Biennale of Sydney</a>. Covering several venues, most notably <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/venue/3">Cockatoo Island</a>, there&#8217;s over 180 works to see from now until the 7th September.</p>
<p>Above is Jill McKay, who along with three other ladies aged 80-plus continuously perform &#8216;God Save the Queen&#8217; by the Sex Pistols. That&#8217;s my kind of art. It&#8217;s by an artist named <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/artist/60">Christoph Buchel</a>.</p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/Vitruvian%20Figure%20by%20Paul%20Pfeiffer.jpg" alt="Vitruvian Figure by Paul Pfeiffer" width="500" height="333" /></p>
<p>Above is a sculpture titled <i>Vitruvian Figure</i> by <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/artist/47">Paul Pfeiffer</a>. It&#8217;s a stadium with one million seats. It&#8217;s enormous.</p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/I%20cant%20work%20like%20this%20by%20Natascha%20Sadr%20Haghighian.jpg" alt="Biennale of Sydney 2008" width="500" height="333" /></p>
<p><i>I can&#8217;t work like this</i> by <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/artist/57">Natascha Sadr Haghighian</a> is made up of nails hammered in a wall at the MCA.</p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/Mirror-Arse%20by%20Mike%20Parr.jpg" alt="Biennale of Sydney 2008" width="500" height="750" /></p>
<p>This is buckets of <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/artist/46">Mike Parr</a>&#8216;s urine. </p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/By%20Vernon%20Ah%20Kee.jpg" alt="Biennale of Sydney 2008" width="500" height="333" /></p>
<p>Continuing the toilet theme is this &#8220;found art&#8221; credited to <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/artist/24">Vernon Ah Kee</a>. It&#8217;s an old toilet block covered in offensive graffiti on Cockatoo Island.</p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/BUST-ED%20by%20Julie%20Rrap.jpg" alt="Biennale of Sydney 2008" width="500" height="333" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.news.com.au/">News</a> photographer Charlie Brewer shoots BUST(ED) by <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/artist/82">Julie Rrap</a>. On a spot of trivia &#8211; Julie Rrap is Mike Parr&#8217;s sister and shares his surname but spelt backwards.</p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/biennale-sydney-2008-48.jpg" alt="Biennale of Sydney 2008" width="500" height="333" /></p>
<p>These large sails cover an expanse of Turbine Hall on Cockatoo Island. It&#8217;s a work by <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/artist/38">Jannis Kounellis</a>.</p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/George%20Bures%20Miller.jpg" alt="Biennale of Sydney 2008" width="500" height="750" /></p>
<p>This is <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/artist/23">George Bures Miller</a> who has a sound installation titled <i>The Murder of Crows</i> on Pier 2/3. It&#8217;s well worth experiencing.</p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/biennale-sydney-2008-71.jpg" alt="Biennale of Sydney 2008" width="500" height="333" /></p>
<p>Romanian artists <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/artist/168">Lia</a> and <a href="http://www.bos2008.com/app/biennale/artist/129">Dan Perjovschi</a> have covered the Art Gallery of NSW in funny graffiti.</p>
