Here’s my snaps from the Laneway Festival on the weekend. It was pretty exceptional; a fantastic line-up, a well mannered and good looking crowd, and a new more spacious venue in an ex-mental asylum.

Lovely day out as usual, and this year marked the fifth time i’ve photographed Homebake.

Sydney Songs closes Creative Sydney

The three week run of Creative Sydney came to an end on Friday night with a performance of Sydney Songs at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

For years i’ve envied other cities around the world that hosted the All Tomorrows Parties festival. Created 10 years ago by an english chap named Barry Hogan he describes the festival as,

Laneway Festival Sydney 2008
The rather splendid Laneway Festival rolled around again this weekend past. I was fresh off the plane from Thailand and flung forth into the throngs of indie kids partying in the heart of the city.
Some of the acts performing included Feist, The Presets, Bridezilla, Dan Deacon, Stars and Cool Kids.
