Last Wednesday night, just after a storm ripped through Sydney, Youth Group played a show on the deck of a boat to launch their new album The Night is Ours.

The boat was the Cape Don, permanently moored at Balls Head next to where Youth Group recorded the new album. I took some pictures of that process, including the band on board the boat last year.

The album launch gig was lit rather poorly, so i was content to just get moody atmospheric shots.

The new album is out on June 26th. This is the video for first single ‘Two Sides’.

Some photos from a gig last month i never got round to posting.

They’re in black and white because the light is so darn red and dark some nights at Spectrum it’s hard to get a decent colour shot.
