<p>I saw <a href="http://www.myspace.com/jamietwimbledon">Jamie T</a> performing solo at Candy&#8217;s Apartment last week. It was an &#8216;intimate&#8217; gig at a smaller venue than he could have played. The intimacy was a little shattered by the raucus Brit&#8217;s in the audience chanting and singing along. But it all added to the atmosphere and made for some good audience sing-along moments. </p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/_MG_9117.JPG" alt="Jamie T" width="500" height="750" /></p>
<p>Jamie T opened his set with <a href="http://filexoom.com/files/2007/4/9/68209/A New England.mp3">a cover of Billy Bragg&#8217;s <em>A New England</em></a> (mp3, not sure where this was recorded). </p>
<p>My mate <a href="http://kingbobbysix.blogspot.com/2007/05/jamie-t-candys-apartment-sydney.html">Bobby reviewed the show</a> for Drum. </p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/jamie-t-25.JPG" width="500" height="333" /></p>
<p>I also saw Jamie T in full band mode at SXSW, which was quite a different experience. He&#8217;s entertaining in either capacity. </p>
<p><img src="http://boudist.com/images/JamieT_DB2.JPG" alt="Jamie T at SXSW" width="500" height="333" /></p>
<p>Looks like he&#8217;s fond of that lumberjack shirt of his. </p>
