It was a day of travel and recovery as i woke early to catch a flight from San Francisco to Austin. Austin is filling with web geeks, the weather is beautiful and SXSW officially kicks off tomorrow.

After a mexican meal for dinner i headed back to my hotel for some rest, TV watching and photo sorting. Some of my US photos are now on Flickr.

Here’s my photos from the Laneway Festival in Sydney last Sunday.

It’s one of the most pleasant festivals around. In the civilised surrounds of the city streets, short walks between stages and a lineup of indie rock’s finest. Among the bands were Love Is All, Peter, Bjorn and John, My Disco, Temper Trap, Yo La Tengo, The Walkmen and many more.
