Here’s some photos from performances i’ve shot at Sydney Theatre in the past couple of months.

Shooting this sort of thing is a refreshing way to use the skills i’ve learned from concert photography for other sorts of performance.

Soledad Barrio performs with Noche Flamenca at Sydney Theatre

Shooting dance is especially rewarding, freezing those split second moments that pass too quick for the human eye.

Metamorphoses at Sydney Theatre

The performances were Metamorphoses, Pilobolus and Noche Flamenca. All have passed except the flamenco performance which continues till 27th June.
